My Angel (Chapter 17)

"Hee Young....Princess..we're here.....i't's time to wake up..." Kyu Jong whispered as he slightly nudged the girl who was currently sleeping on his shoulder.


Jung Min, Hyung Jun and Hyun Joong looked a each oher. Wondering why Kyu Jong called Hee Young "Princess". At this moment, all their attentions were focused to two persons behind their seats.


"We arrived already??" she asked while rubbing her eyes.


"De... I enjoyed watching your face as you slept comfortably.." Hyung Jun teased her.


"Is this your house?? Wow!! it's huge!" Hyun Joong asked with the amazement in his eyes.


"Yup!! would you like to come in first?"


"Su..." Hyung Jun doesnt have the chance to continue what he wants to say because Kyu Jong covered his mouth.


"Maybe next time, we know that you're tired. you must rest first" Kyu said to her while still holding Hyung Jun's mouth.


"Noona, why did you work as Young Saeng hyung's P.A??? If you're living in a place like this, you don't have to work at all. " Jung Min asked


Hee Young just give Jung Min a smile, leaving his question unanswered..


"Take care guys!! send me a message after you got home. arraso??"


The guys inside the van just nod at her as a response. She shut the door and waved to them.


"Hee Young....Princess..we're here.....i't's time to wake up.." Jung Min mimicked Kyu Jong very accurately that made Kyu Jong give him a glare.


"Since when did you call Hee Young noona a "Princess"" Jung Min asked.


"I'm too tired to answer your pathetic question, mal"


"Yah! who said that it was a pathetic question? I'm just curious, you know!" Jung Min retorted back and whacked Kyu Jong's left shoulder.


"OUCH!!! It hurts!" He said and hold his shoulder while expressing the pain that he felt.


"Waeyo?? It's just a usual whack that I often give you whenever we're playing around."


"Jung Minnie, Kyu Jong's shoulder is definitely in sore right now. Letting Hee Young sleep on his shoulder without moving is hard for him."


"Oh!! Mianhe! Mianhe! Kyu Jong ah!, I never thought of it. Mianhe..."


"Kwenchana, just let me off today with your playful tricks and let me rest for a while.. I'm really tired."


"Kyu Jong ah, is there any particular reason why don't you want us to come over in Hee Young noona's place" Hyung Jun asked with a pout..


"Aigooo... my baby aren't listening to what I've just said.. I'm tired and she must be tired as well"

"It's just better if we all rest first. We could go there next time.." Kyu Jong said while leaning back on his seat.

Young Saeng saw a Flower Shop when he was on his way to the restaurant where he suppose to meet someone. He parked his car in the front of the shop. He put his shades on, looked at the rear mirror, arranged his hair and get out of the car.


He looked around to search a specific kind of flower, the one that can make her smile.


"Annyeong hasseyo, how can I help you?" . The assistant of the shop asked politely.


"Do you have yellow Tulips here?? "


"Ye. this way sir." The assistant lead him to where all the tulips are placed.


Young Saeng grabbed one long stemmed tulips and smelled it.


"How many tulips do you need??"


"1 dozen of.... wait a minute, I just need to answer a call. " Young Saeng said to the assistant and she just give him a smile as a reply.


"Yoboseo? oh Hee Young ah, what is it??"


"Just want to ask if you're going to have your dinner at home?"


"Anniyo, I'm going to have my dinner with someone tonight."


"I see, are you going to be late"


"Maybe.. I don't know... waeyo??"


"Nothing.. I'm just checking if your still fine..."


"Checking if I'm fine??? Do I look like sicked?"


"That's not what I meant... I mean... nothing.. just drive carefully." Hee Young said and dropped the call first.


"What wrong with her??. " he asked himself..


"Sorry for keep you waiting. Give me a dozen of yellow tulips" He said to the assistant

"Having dinner with someone??? Is he dating someone already?? Aigoo.... you don't have to give a damn about it, you're just his P.A. nothing more and nothing less" she scolded herself


"But why do I feel uneasy? what's going on with me?" she asked confusely.


"Do you like him my precious??" a sudden voice startled her.


"OMO!! Min Ho oppa!! you scared me! how long have you been there?"


"Long enough to see your facial expression and hear your rants about him."


Hee Young lowered her head due to embarrassment. Min Ho walk towards to her and take a sit on her bed.


"Kwenchana, I won't be mad if you like him."


"And how did you know that I liked him? I'm not really sure about what I felt for him. All I know is that he's someone special, just like you and Kyu Jong."


"But I haven't seen you rant like that whenever I'm nor Kyu Jong having dinner with someone else." Min Ho chuckled and messed her hair.


"But what if I do like him? and want more of him in the future?"


"Just go on with your feelings my precious. there's nothing wrong with it"


"Oppa, I'm scared that I might hurt him in the end."


"Of course you wouldn't, I know that when the right time comes, he'll understand everything. The most important thing you could do now is make yourself happy." Min Ho said to comfort her.


"Let's go, dinner is ready. you're not going to sleep here right?" he said to her to changed their topic. He knew that they will be more sentimental if they continue with that topic.


"Ye. I'm just going to pack some of my stuff after dinner then I'm going back to the apartment."


Min Ho and Hee Young stand up from the bed and headed to the dining area.

Young Saeng arrived on the restaurant. He grabbed the tulips on the passenger seat and get out of the car. He gave his car keys to the valet and headed to the restaurant.


He saw the person that he was talking on the phone earlier, she stir her coffee while looking at the window. He hide the bouquet of tulips behind his back and walk towards to her.


"Is this sit taken? May I take a sit in front of the most gorgeous woman in the world?"


"Aigooo... I'm too old for your praises my baby."


"Umma! who said that your old??? you didn't look like one."


"Arrasso... I'm the most gorgeous woman in my son's eyes. Komawo " She replied as she pinched his cheeks.


"Ouch!!" He exclaimed.


"Mianhe my baby, I just missed you so much. you haven't visit our home since last year."


"I'm sorry Umma, It's just that our schedule was too packed. have you eaten something already?"


"I haven't... I'm waiting for you."


"Oh! you should have ordered first, by the way this is for you." Young Saeng handed over the tulips to his mom.


"Oh!!! It's pretty!! you still remember my favorite color of tulips."


"How can I forget that??? you're as beautiful those tulips"


"Komawo" her mom replied as she extend her arm to touch his son's hand.


They had they're talks while having dinner. Young Saeng was so closed to his mom that he even told her everything including his love life but he always use someone else to portray himself.


"Mom..."


"Ye."


"Is it possible to fall in love with someone whom you just met?"


"How long have you met her?"


"Anni. It's not me. It's Hyung Jun ah."


"Come on Young Saeng! you know you can't fool me right?? and stop using Hyung Jun as an excuse. I know that you've been using him as your disguise whenever you want my advise when it comes to your love relationship. "


"You knew that? Did Hyung Jun told you about it?"


"I don't have to ask anybody. I can see the truth by just looking you in the eyes. So what about this girl that you just met?"


Young Saeng feel embarrassed to himself because his mom caught him with the truth.


"There's a girl that I met more than a month ago. and she was so lovely. Not only her looks but her personality as well."


"and then?"


"I already confirmed my feelings for her a few days ago. and I want to be with her."


"Have you asked her out?"


"Not yet, I'm scared that she might reject me"


"Young Saeng ah, always bear this in mind We often fear the things we want most ."


"Then what should I do now?"


"Yah! It's not your first time to ask someone out, why are you asking on what should you do now?"


"It's different with her mom. I dated a few girls before because they are the one who asked me out."


"How come that this girl is different from the others.?"


"It's because she treat others like the way he treat me. So I can't tell if I have a chance if I asked her out."


"So you're just going to asked someone out if you know that she liked you too??"


"De."


"Then it's time to try something new now. If you really liked her then asked her out,. just be prepared on her answer."


"What if she reject me?"


"Then take it as a man. As simple as that."


"Will it work?"


"Stop asking me and just find it out yourself. "


Young Saeng just give her mom a smile.. He always appreciates his mom's advice especially when it comes too his love relationship. He's was so good on giving love advice to other people but he can't apply those advices to himself..

It was already 12:30am Young Saeng arrived on the apartment. He parked his car and grabbed another 2 dozen of white roses mixed with moss rose buds. He smiled as he remembered how did he get this flowers.


Flashback:


After sending her mom home, Young Saeng dialed a familiar number to his phone.


"Yoboseo"


"Yoboseo? Lianne noona? still awake?"


"Do you think I can talk to you right now if I'm sleeping? why did you call me in the middle of the night?"


"I need to ask something, do you knew any flower shop that still open in this time?"


"I have a friend who owns a flower shop near at my house but I don't know if its stil open in this hour. waeyo??? for whom are those flowers for? do you have another girlfriend? "


"She's not my girl yet, but I'm going to make her mine soon! thanks for the info noona!!! i'll hang up first, goodnight!"


Young Saeng dropped the call and stepped on his gas pedal. The owner is on her way out of her shop when Young Saeng called her. He run as soon as he got out of the car.


"Ahjumma! wait."


"Waeyo?" The lady asked him confusedly.


"I ... want ....to buy.....some white..... flowers" He said in between his breath


"But I'm already closing it."


"Please ahjumma... Please..." He begged her with his irresistible smile.


"Arraso...You said you want some white roses?"


"De. kumawo ahjumma, I'll pay triple of the price just to pay the my bothersome to you"


"Anniyo, just pay the normal price for it. are you going to give this to your girlfriend?" She said while arranging the flowers.


"She's not my girlfriend, I haven't confess to her but I'm planning to do it soon."


"Is that so?? then you should mixed this with moss rose bud."


"Waeyo??"


"Because moss rose bud symbolizes confession of love. It will be a perfect match with white roses which means purity"


"Really? I only knew about the white roses."


"Only few people knew it. Should I put the moss rose bud with these white roses?"


"Ye."


The lady carefully arranged the flower together. He handed it to Young Saeng after she finished the arrangement.


"Here you go. You could confess to her soon." The lady handed the flower to Young Saeng.


"Kumawo ahjumma!! I'll bring her here if I'm lucky enough to be his guy."


Young Saeng leaves the shop after paying the amount of the flowers that he bought.

End of Flasback




When Young Saeng got inside the house, she found Hee Young sleeping on the couch.


"Pabo. I already said that I'm coming home late but you still wait for me... Mianhe if i keep you waiting... " He said to her while watching her sleeping in the couch.


He started to lift her slowly so she won't wake up. He carry her then headed to Hee Young's room. He slowly tucked her in bed, arranged her fringe and give him a quick peck on her lips.


He left the flowers on her side table and slowly closed the door. When the door was fully closed. Hee Young opened her eyes slowly..


"Did he just kissed me on my lips?? Ottokhe???" She said while holding her lips..
