“This morning, I can feel the warm rays of the sun on my face. Just a mere thought of here makes me survived from the loneliness I had before. Looks like love can really changed your life. ” Young Saeng said to himself as he leaned on his window, savoring the beauty of sunrise.
Hee Young stared on the space while having a bite of chocolate chip cookies and sipping her milk from time to time. She can still remember what happened last night.
“I wonder why did he kissed me? Does he like me too? But this can‘t be happening, I don‘t want to hurt him in the end.” She mumbles to herself.
“What are you doing?? talking to yourself early in the morning??” Young Saeng said to her.
Hee Young got startled and got choked by the cookie she was eating. Young Saeng tapped her back repeatedly, He let her drink the milk after she managed to swallow the cookie..
“Yah! Want me to die early?!” She scolded him.
“Anniyo. Mianhe, I never meant to startled you. Are you alright now?” He said to her and sit to the other side of counter table.
“You expect me to be fine after you kissed me last night?” She mumble again.
“What did you just say??”
“Nothing. I said I‘m fine just don‘t startled me next time especially when I‘m eating.”
“Arrasso. Wait a minute, why do you look so pale today? Didn‘t you have a good sleep last night?” He asked and leaned forward to her.
Hee Young got froze from her sit when she realized that her lips was just 5cm away from him and take a few seconds before she could respond to him.
“ Don’t worry I’m fine. What do you want for breakfast?” She asked and turn herself towards to the kitchen.
“Your smile would be enough as my breakfast.” He mumbles.
“What did you said??” She pretends that she doesn’t hear what he said but can’t help to give out a smile.
“I said I want cookies with honey on top and a brewed coffee too.”
“Brewed coffee and cookie jar coming up!” She said.
Hee Young got the cookie jar on the cabinet after she puts the coffee beans on the coffee maker while Young Saeng was just watching her prepare his breakfast happily. After a few minutes, she served Young Saeng with his breakfast.
“Here you go! Chocolate chip cookies and a brewed coffee.”
“Komawo” he said and take a bite of his cookie.
“Wait a minute, why did you wake up so early today? What time did you arrived last night?” She fired her questions, still pretending that she doesn’t know anything.
“Let‘s just say that I had a good sleep and managed to get up early today. I guess I arrived at around midnight. Yah! Why did you slept on the couch last night! Didn‘t I told you not to wait for me?! Aigoo.. I never thought that you were that heavy when I was carrying you to your room” Young Saeng teased her.
“And who told you that I was waiting for you? I was just watching tv and fell asleep. And who also told you to carry me to my room? You could have just cover me with blanket and let me sleep on the couch!” She retorted.
Young Saeng didn’t managed to retort back because an incoming call from Hee Young’s hand phone interfere their conversation.
“Yoboseo? Yeah Mr. Park? What??? Okay, I‘ll be there as soon as possible.” Hee Young drops the call immediately.
“What happened??” Young Saeng asked worriedly.
“Min Ho Oppa is sick now, I need to go home now. You‘ll be fine here without me right???”
“Yeah, do you need a ride?”
“I’ll just take the bus. You have scheduled interview later this afternoon. You can‘t be late again.”
“It‘s still early so I could get back on time after giving you a ride”. He insisted.
“Are you sure??”
“De.”
“Then wait for me here, I‘ll just change my clothes.” She said in a hurry.
After 30 minutes, Young Saeng and Hee Young arrived on the her house. Young Saeng got surprised when he found out that Hee Young was living on a mansion.
“Mr Lee, how‘s Min Ho Oppa??”
“He‘s fine now my young lady, the doctor said that he needs to have a full rest. His body needs to recover from fatigue. He‘s been exhausting himself for the past two week.”
“Exhausting himself??”
“De my young lady. He‘s been working day and night for the upcoming meeting with the new investors next week.”
“Where is he now??.”
“In his room, probably still working with the presentation.”
“And you allowed him to do that??”
“Mianhe my young lady. The young master insisted it.”
“Aigoo Mr. Lee, you shouldn‘t let him do that.”
“I apologize my young lady.” He said and bow to her.
“Kwenchana Mr. Lee, I‘ll go to his room now and whack his head if necessary just to stopped him from working.”
Mr. Lee and Young Saeng just chuckled on her last statement. They both know that Hee Young will use an extreme counter measure in a situation like this.
“Mr. Lee can you send my friend to my room? And give him something to eat. That guy haven’t finished his breakfast because of me. Young Saeng ah, wait me in my room, I’ll be there after having a talk with my brother.”
“De my young lady.” Mr. Lee replied while Young Saeng just give her a nod.
“This way Mr. Heo.”
“You knew me?” Young Saeng asked.
“De. We knew everything about you.” Mr. Lee replied while he chuckles.
Young Saeng followed Mr. Lee to Hee Young’s room.

“Min Ho Oppa!”
“Oh! My princess! What are you doing here?”
“Mr. Lee told me that your sick. And still working even the doctor said that you need to have at least two weeks of rest ”.
“I can‘t do that, there will be foreign investor that will be coming next week. That‘s why I need to finish all the preparation needed on that meeting”.
“Can‘t you just postponed it Min Ho Oppa?? You really need to rest. ”
“I can‘t my princess, dad has been waiting for this opportunity to come and asked me to do well with the investors.”
“Then I‘ll take over the company until you get well.”
“What?? You‘re kidding right?”
“Do I look like kidding now?? You need to rest, and if taking over the company for a while will be the best way to keep you from work then I‘ll do it.”
“Are you sure about that? What about Young Saeng?.”
“Young Saeng can take care of his sleeping habits now. So I can take a break from being his P.A and take over your place on the hotel. ”
“That‘s not what I meant, If your going to take over my place you wouldn‘t have a chance to see him nor monitor his whereabouts. And besides, can you manage the hotel by yourself?? It‘s been a year since you handle our hotel in New York.”
“Aigoo!! Don‘t you have enough confidence for me Oppa?? Looks like you‘ve forgotten that I managed to finish Business Management in New York University with flying colors! ”
“Aish! This brat is starting to show off again!”
“Just telling the truth Oppa..” Hee Young said with a boastful manner.
“Okay, I let you take over my place but please be careful. Don‘t exhaust yourself like me. Your health was way too precious than mine.”
“Don‘t worry too much, just have a full rest and regain all the strength you‘ve lost. By the way, I left Young Saeng in my room. Im going to check him out.”
“He‘s here?? Waeyo?”
“He insist to give me a ride.”
“Let‘s go together. I want to see him.”
“But you need to rest!”
“Just let me walk for a while, I feel like I‘m going to be more sick if I stayed here all day.”

Young Saeng was fully amazed in Hee Young’s room. The room was just like a presidential suite in hotel. A portion of the room got Young Saeng’s attention. The room has a mini-library, he headed in to it and look for some books. As he examined the books, he found a long table filled with picture frames on the side. He found a lot of pictures of Hee Young with her brother. Much to his surprise, he found a picture of Kyu Jong and Hee Young with Kyu’s gigantic bear in the middle.
“It‘s Kyu‘s bear! How come that they have a picture of it when they were still young??” He asked Himself.
“Actually, it‘s my bear. Kyu gave it to me as a graduation gift. I just send it back to him and asked him to take a good care of it while I‘m in America.” Hee Young answered his question.
Young Saeng turned his head after he heard Hee Young’s voice. He bowed to them when he saw Min Ho standing beside his sister.
“It‘s been a while since I saw you on your birthday party. I haven‘t introduced myself properly that time, by the way I‘m Lee Min Ho” Min Ho said to him.
“Annyeong Haseyo, Heo Young Saeng imnida.” Young Saeng introduced himself and slightly bowed his head.
“You don’t have to introduce yourself, I knew everything about you”
“Oppa!” Hee Young exclaimed.
“Waeyo? it’s my duty to know everything about the guy you were living with” Min Ho replied giving his dongsaeng a playful smirk.
Young Saeng just gived a shy smile while watching the siblings in front of him.
“Young Saeng ah, can we talked?? We need to discuss something.”
Young Saeng just nod and followed Hee Young. They sit on the bench in front of a small pond located in the middle of their garden.
“Can I asked something?” Young Saeng blurted out.
“What is it?
“Why do you work as my P.A?? From what I’ve seen, you don’t have to work at all.”
“I’m not that kind of girl who will just slacked my back and spend my family’s fortune. I want to earn and spend my own money. But the main reason was, I want to feel that I am needed by someone, To take care of someone whom I really didn’t know was included in my to-do list.” She explained to him.
“To-do list?”
“De. I‘ve made a list that I want to do within this year.”
“Then what‘s the number one on your list?”
Hee Young paused for a while and give Young Saeng a smile. “To witness a miracle”. She continued.
“Would that be possible??”
“I have faith, and as long as I have it, anything is possible.”
Young Saeng just give him a smile even though he can’t understand why did she said that.
“Young Saeng ah, I‘ll take a one week hiatus from being your P.A.”
“Why??”
“Min Ho Oppa needs a complete bed rest, but there are investors that will come to meet him next week.”
‘So you’re saying that your going to take over his place?”
“Yes.”
“Can you do that?? I mean are you qualified for his position?”
“Of course!! Min Ho Oppa already let me managed our hotel in New York.”
“Why did he do that?? Aren‘t you too young for that kind of responsibility?”
“It was a necessity that time, Oppa needs to manage the construction of our new hotel in Europe so it leaves us no choice.”
“I see.. Uhhm.. Can I visit you on your office??”
“Waeyo??” She asked with a surprised look.
“Just want to check you out.”
“Arasso, But not too often. I have a lot of paper works to do so I don‘t want a lot of distraction” Hee Young smiled at him and looked at her watch. “Hey! You need to go now, or else you‘re going to be late again!!”
“Yeah, I should take my leave now. Take care and see you soon.”
Young Saeng looked back at her after taking a few steps.
“Hee Young ah!” He shouted.
“What is it??”
“FIGHTING!!!!”
Hee Young can’t help but to smile at him. “Komawo!”, She replied.

Hee Young arrived on the office. She headed in to his brother’s office and found the secretary who’s waiting for her arrival.
“Good Morning Ms. Lee”. Mr. Kim greeted her.
“Good Morning too Mr. Kim!, what‘s my schedule for today.?”
“You have a lunch meeting with CEO of Shinwa Group then another meeting with the Marketing department at 4PM. These are the files that needs to be reviewed before sending a full report to all of the board of directors.” Mr. Kim said to him and placed all the documents at her table.
“You mean all these files??”
“Yeah, Mr. Lee was absent for three days now so the documents piled up.”
“I see.. Uhmm.. Can you get me a Latte? I really need it right now. A lot of paper works are waiting for me.”
Three hours quickly passed and Hee Young was already exhausted with piles of documents that needs to be reviewed.
“I need a fresh air now. I feel like I‘m suffocated in this room” She said to himself. She walks out on the office and headed to the rooftop. The rooftop was his brother’s sanctuary. Whenever her brother feels tired at his office, he will take 1hour break and will take a nap on the rooftop.
“Wow! It‘s so nice to see the whole Seoul from here.” She exclaimed. Stretching her arms upward to release the stress she gained from reviewing the documents.
“There you are!” A familiar voice came from her back.
“OMO! Kyu Jong! What are you doing here??”
“Young Saeng Hyung told me that you‘re in hiatus from being his P.A and will take over Min Ho Hyung‘s position as CEO. I can‘t believed that my best friend is now the temporary CEO of YOUNGWA Group.” Kyu said while chuckling.
“Yah! Stopped teasing me!” Hee Young said and mess his fringe. “What are you listening now?” She asked when she noticed the earphones attached to his ears.
“I‘ve recorded my own version of our song “Confession”. ”
“Really?? Does it turns out well?? I mean better than when the 5 of you sang it?”
“Why don‘t you listen to the whole song then tell me the difference of my version to the group‘s version.?”
“Alright.”
Kyu Jong placed the earphones to Hee Young’s ears, play the music and set the volume where she cannot hear what his going to said to her. When he knows that Hee Young is already listening to his version of “Confession” while staring at the overview of Seoul, He started to confess his feelings to her.
“Whenever I‘m with you, my heart beats like a drum and butterflies keeps fluttering inside. You are always by my side whenever I‘m troubled of my insecurities. You never leave me until I‘m perfectly fine. At night, before I close my eyes all I can think is you. In the morning, when I opened my eyes, you were the first person I think of. You’re the only one I see but you‘re not looking at me and because of that, My heart is in pain right now. It was too painful that I couldn‘t sleep at night. Although you were by my side you can‘t see what‘s inside of my heart. I‘ve been loving you for more than five years now but I‘m too scared to express it. Afraid to lose the friendship that we had if you found out about my feelings towards you. I don‘t want to be your best friend anymore, I want you to start looking at me as your man. I know that this is a coward thing to do, having my confession of love when you’re not listening. But this is the only way I know to ease the burden in my heart. Let me just say this once….. ”
Hee Young noticed that Kyu Jong was saying something but he can’t hear it so she decided to take off the earphones.
“I love you….” Kyu Jong finished his confession but got shocked when she saw that Hee Young removed the earphones.
“I love you too Kyu!!! I‘m really lucky to have you as my best friend! Komawo for not leaving me behind.” She replied and then give kyu a hug.
“Bestfriend?? Yeah… I‘m your best friend and I think I can‘t be more than that.” Kyu Jong said to himself with a frown look on his face while hugging her back..
